A Little Update

I know I have been out for awhile. I am sorry that my schedule is making me have almost no private time to write a blog post. Just let you know, I am not abandoning this beautiful blog which created by myself. I will try to squeeze some time to be a responsible blogger as I signed to be. In my bag

I have been wanting to do a "In my bag" post since I started blogging, but I was't quite sure why I didn't do it before. Blame my stupid brain, can't remember to do it and why not. Anyways, it's time to seize what I have been carrying in my mind. Lets have a look deep inside my bag!

Something New

How have you been? I am sadly to tell you that I got food poison. And with my busy working schedule, I've been hell. Lets hope life will get better. Fingers cross. 

But let me tell you something's exciting! I bought some new skincare products. In the past two years, I was using a Japanese brand product, but now with my new job, I just wanna try something new. And my friend M just talked me into trying a Korean brand, which named Holika Holika. I bought that emulsion from the collection called Aqua Fantasy, a toner and skincare powder from the collection called Bee Care. I love the texture of them and they can really moisturize my skin. So, YAY!

Remember I love Downton Abbey's 1920s fashion? You see Lady Mary has a necklace with a little golden heart locket. Well I am not sure is it a locket, but I was dying to have one. Now I HAVE IT! I am so happy to share with everybody. One the other day, its a shooting day. I met the amazing little girl named Natalie and she was so interested of my newly beloved necklace. She kindly asked to try on. How can I resist this adorable girl in the Rapunzel shirt? I helped her to put it on and a little white lie to make her happy, a little story. I said that the necklace was a gift from a princess, it was a lucky charm and she gave it to me to protect me. Nat totally bought my story and ran to show it to her mother. I had such a great day with that little sweetheart.

The Same Old Question

The question has been asked: How would you describe your style? Define it. I asked myself this same old question so many times when I got sick of my old wardrobe years ago, I was standing there and stared at it, and hoping that I can get my all clothes new and shiny. I guess I sort of did it a bit later. My (so-called) style, I would call it retro-chic. Call me an old-fashioned girl. You see I love fashion in 1960s, I am in love with those full-skirted ball dresses, capris and pillbox hats. I am trying to find a balance between 60s and nowadays. I have three style icons, or you can call it inspirations.

My (so-called) style is inspired by character Blair Waldorf (played by Leighton Meester) from Gossip Girl season1-2, character Summer Finn (played by Zooey Deschanel) from 500 Days of Summer and Singer Taylor Swift. Their styles are all common in retro-chic, old-fashion and a little bit country style. Blair's clothing is like vintage, but colourful. She mostly wears dresses, with signature accessory, headband, which is my favorite accessory too. Summer loves blue, as well as me, she is a office lady which is why she is usually wearing shirt. But she makes her whole look very sweet and cute by using a little pin or wearing a girly vest. Taylor is not only good at music, but also styling. Thanks for her height, she has absolutely strength in fashion. She is a blonde barbie doll with a good voice.

Spring and Hot Pink

I guess I am the first one who noticed that spring is here because of my odiousness of winter. This week, IFB is asking us blogger to write a post about our spring outfit. What theme do you do in spring? What is your spring uniform. I am gonna try something new. You see I collect one-piece clothes, mostly I wear dress with tights. But how about a little bit change? Maybe add a T-shirt? Probably a good idea! So I decided that is my spring uniform, and hot pink is definitely the colour of spring, and you have to agree with me. What are you waiting for?
